Flexxidisc straight Designed for universal work. Used with extension for molars, without extension for incisors. Coated with diamond chips. This is a great hand piece. The rotary disk hand piece has the most ergonomic design for equine dentistry. The thin head makes reaching the last molars very easy. The head can be rotated 360 degree for easy access to each anatomical site. See manual for user instructions. |
Flexxidisc curved Designed for the universal work. Used with extension for molars. Coated with diamond chips. This is a great hand piece. It has similar indications as the straight Flexxidisc. The curved shape improves visibility, which is especially helpful for the work on the buccal aspect of molars. Also it is easier to reach the 111 and 211 with the curved design. The head can be rotated 360 degree for easy access to each anatomical site. See manual for user instructions. |
Maxillary Hand Piece Designed for the work on maxillary teeth. Used with extension. Coated with diamond chips. 106 to 108 & 206 to 208: its cylinder portion of the burr allows fast and efficient profiling work. 109 to 111 & 209 to 211: its conical head facilitates the access to areas where the space is limited. The tight burr guard protects soft tissue and guides the drill on the tooth. See manual for user instructions. |
Mandibulary Hand Piece 306
to 408 & 406 to 408 : cylinder shaped, its diameter has
been designed for efficient work, without the tool being too bulky. See manual for user instructions.
Vestibular Hand Piece The grinding burr is less guarded
which facilitates perfect positioning. The wide diamond head results
in fast and efficient work. Can be used for buccal side, for upper
and lower teeth. You may consider
having the full-mouth speculum not entirely opened: This improves
the access to the buccal area and enhances the comfort for the horse and the
practitioner. See manual for user instructions.

Polyfloat Hand Piece Nine different diamond coated burrs are available. 3 apple core burrs (14mm, 19mm, 25mm) for bit seat, 2 cylindrical burrs (22mm, 28mm) for diastemata, 2 conical burrs (9mm, 14mm) for diastemata or decays, 1 ball burr (6mm) and 1 half-spherical burr (6mm) for decays. This hand piece looks similar to the Terafloat but is designed for working on bit seats, dental decay and diastema formation. All burrs are diamond coated and easy to change.

Angle Hand
Piece See manual for user instructions.
Ball Hand Piece Designed for the formation of bit seats. Used without extension. The ball hand piece is the perfect tool for the formation of bit seats. The short handle makes the hand piece easy to guide and the round burr minimizes the risk of accidentally opening the pulp cavity. See
manual for user instructions. |
Grinding
Wheel Hand Piece Work on canines is easily done with this hand piece. Please be aware that overzealous reduction of canines can lead to open pulp cavity. See manual for user instructions. |
Tooth Socket Hand Piece See manual for user instructions. |
Extension Some of the hand pieces (Maxillary, Mandibular, Universal, Terafloat) can be used with or without the extension. The extension is 16" long. It fits over the flexishaft and screws onto the hand pieces. See manual for user instructions. |

HDE
engines and drive shaft Light weight and practical Two motors are available, with manual switch or with variable speed foot pedal. Motor 1 on the left, and motor 2 with foot pedal on the right. Motor 2 is not recommended for the flexxidisc hand piece. Both motors are light weight tools with carrying belt and reinforced flex shaft. The reinforced flex shaft is available as a 3' and 4' model for your convenience. |
HDE motor 1 Made in Germany, 110V 500W motor; 3.5 lbs light weight Powerful, light and quiet. Thumb wheel for microprocessor controlled variable speed 4000-9000rpm. Regardless of the grinding load the motor keeps the preset speed. Used with GFCI. With variable speed hand switch or variable speed foot switch. Carrying belt for utmost convenience.
HDE motor 2 Made in France. 110V 450W, 3.2 lbs light weight Powerful, light and quiet. Built-in foot control for variable speed regulation. Used with GFCI protection. Carrying belt for utmost convenience. |
Flex
shaft Reinforced flex shaft. Fits both motors. Available as 48" or 64' models. QUICKFLEX coupling for convenient and fast changing between different hand pieces. Stainless steel quality. Disposable stainless steel staples fit into the end piece of the flex shaft, and they drive the hand pieces. The staples are the weakest structure in the drive shaft and designed to fail first and therefore prevent damage of the cord in the drive shaft. See manual for user instructions.

There is no daily maintenance for HDE
instruments.
It is important to clean the instruments after every use.
Dental debris becomes very hard when it dries and difficult to
remove from the burr. Please use a coarse plastic brush or a
wire brush and water to clean the disk. Please refer to the manuals for more information: - Instructions regarding maintenance and changing the burrs - User instructions for HDE basic unit - User instructions for Flexxidisc unit |
